Peggy Sinclair
The keeper of the recipe box
Peggy grew up licking the beaters in her grandmother’s kitchen and never really left. She writes about the food, the homes, and the everyday rituals of the good old days — the Sunday pot roasts, the milkman’s clink at dawn, the church-basement potlucks where reputations were made and lost over a Jell-O mold.
She still owns three of those molds, all in regular service. Her motto: nobody ever left grandma’s table hungry, and nobody leaves her articles hungry either.
