Our man at the double feature
Walt saw his first double feature from the back of a ’52 Ford wagon and has been reviewing the snack bar ever since. He covers the TV shows, the movies, and the drive-in nights we grew up on — from test patterns at dawn to the dancing hot dogs of intermission.
He can still whistle the “Let’s All Go to the Lobby” jingle in its entirety, and yes, he once rode in the trunk to save fifty cents. The statute of limitations, he wishes to note, has expired.
